Jack Nitzsche – One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest Ost

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Miloš Forman's classic film, Varèse Sarabande presents legendary composer Jack Nitzsche's Academy and Grammy Award-nominated score for the 1975 hit One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, starring Jack Nicholson and Louise Fletcher, who both won Academy Awards for their performances.

Cuckoo's Nest was only the second film in history to win all five major Academy Award categories (Best Picture, Lead Actor, Lead Actress, Director and Screenplay) and its classical soundtrack composed and arranged by Jack Nitzsche — which also took home a Grammy for Original Music Score — is as equally compelling and is not to be missed. In addition to the standout opening and closing title track themes, the edgy 11-track affair is home to more striking singular works like "Medication Valse" and "Bus Ride To Paradise."
